Frustrated with not being able to access my online banking account for almost 2 months, Santander sent me multiple contradictory logging details. This forced me to make 5 trips to the bank in just 2 weeks. Can anyone relate? I was seriously considering closing my account at this point, to say the least. Then, when I made an appointment last week to close my business with the bank and move my money somewhere else, a very enthusiastic, professional and charming young man named Sebastian Muller saved the day. Shoutout to Sebastian for going above and beyond to help me. Not only did he resolve the ‘letter-gate’ issue by personally reaching out to the support team and finding out what the issue was, but he also showed care and consideration and didn’t rest until my other concerns and requests were concluded. In a digital age, it's refreshing to come across customer representatives like him who treat us as unique individuals and still add a personal touch to it. Well done! Happy customer in da haus!

I had such a wonderful experience talking to Ms. Claudia Wendlandt. One of her colleagues told me I should come back with an appointment to open my bank account, but Ms. Wendlandt wanted to open it on the spot for me. She was amazing, so patient with my questions and so encouraging. She made my day! Honestly this is the best bank experience I've ever had.

I have an account with Santander. I visited this bank in June of 2022. The customer service I received was appalling. I used my Santander card in a Santander bank to withdraw cash and I was charged for it. Prior to making the withdrawal I asked for advice from two members of staff who were of no use or remotely interested. I complained at my local branch in Glasgow. I got nowhere with it and as a result I opened an account with Chase to use as my main account. I arrived in Berlin yesterday (13/9/24). On the way to my hotel I passed this bank and decided to withdraw cash with my Chase card as I have used at other Santanders in other countries (without charges being applied). I was having trouble with the transaction so I went inside to seek help. The lady was serving an elderly gentleman and could see her getting agitated with him. I didn't realise at this point it was nearly closing time. When it came to serving me I showed her my Chase card which she looked at as if she had never seen another type of bank card, I'm not sure if you can only use a santander card which would be very strange. I explained my problem and all I can say is that her customer service skills are zero and I was quickly escorted out of the door with the same agitation shown to the elderly gentleman before me. At least this branch of Santander is consistent in maintaining poor customer service. I went to a nearby Deutsche bank and withdrew cash with my Chase card and no charges. No doubt I will not receive any satisfaction when I complain when I go home.

I can strongly recommend this bank office. Great support and atmosphere. I got all information needed and explanation about activating account etc. For me, as new person in Germany that was very important. Thank you very much Frau Claudia.

I had a 6 month exchange in Berlin, and they kindly helped me to open a student account in order to receive my monthly tuition. I had problems in receiving my NIP, and it was something very problematic for me, since in Mexico, as soon as you receive the card, there is also a temporary one. However, they always supported me and helped me to improve my level of German; in particular, there was a young lady who encouraged me to keep practicing. I am currently in my home country, however I have an issue that I would like to clarify with this branch, I just can't find a direct contact. Could you please help me.
